I'm really happy that I decided to pull it out.Īll products come from the June Studio Calico kit with the exception of the buttons, manila tags and the accordion album. I had this silly fear of using it for some reason.so it stayed hidden in the closet with my other mini books. I've been hoarding this Junkitz Accordion Album for sometime now. I was trying to figure out a way to make this mini a little home decor item that I can display. So without further ado.here are THE REASONS WHY I SCRAPBOOK. I love this topic, especially after recently taking Ali's BPS class Yesterday&Today.this challenge has me really energized to pull out my photos and supplies. I've not touched a crafty supply in a while and i've been itching to create but I just didn't want to make just anything.Įnter this lovely project and it was perfect for me to get my feet or should i say hands back in the game. You see, i've lost some creative energy towards the last few weeks in December. Choose from over 49 different overlays including papers (folded, crumpled, canvas, linen, and more), glass, and old film (dust, scratches, crackle). She posted a creative adventure for the month of January to come up with a way to document "This is Why I Scrapbook." I found her post on this very subject so interesting. iScrapbook uses advanced image compositing to blend built-in textures with your photos. I've been playing along this month on a creative adventure with the lovely and ever so talented Shimelle.

To let them know how much they mean to me. To remind them (and myself) about the little things that makes us happy, sad, scared, excited and proud. To get down the memories that slip so easily from my mind. But what I really love now is the ability to write little love notes to my husband and daughters. I have “met” some amazing people that inspire me on a daily basis. Yes.i do love all of the products, who wouldn’t. My focus has shifted a bit when it comes to this craft of mine. Then one day in the year 2000, I walked into a Michael’s and seriously the rest is history. It was just fun and inside of me.that need to color, write, and make stuff. This was all before I ever knew this need to create was called “scrapbooking”. The photos and words told a little story. They just made me so happy.Īs a teen, I started putting pictures and words together in little that’s why I liked yearbook class so much. Diaries were my best friends.not only did they hold my most precious secrets.but it was a place for me to let loose and decorate the way I wanted. As a child I collected stickers and stationary with all kinds of patterns and colors. There has always been this part of me that loves to create and take pictures.
